Sushila won silver and Harjinder Kaur won bronze on the fourth day

Sports : India won three medals on the fourth day. Sushila Devi won silver medal in Judo. At the same time, in Judo itself, Vijay Yadav won the bronze medal in men. Harjinder Kaur won bronze medal in 71kg category. He has won the country’s ninth medal by lifting a total of 212 kg. In this match, Harjinder lifted 93 kg in snatch and 119 kg in clean and jerk. Sarah Davis of England won the gold medal by lifting a total of 229 kg. At the same time, Canada’s Alexis Ashworth won the silver medal by lifting 214 kg.

Snatch: Harjinder gave his name for 90kg in the first attempt. She could not lift this weight. He lifted 90 kg in the second attempt and 93 kg in the third. In this way, his score in the snatch round was 93 kg.

Clean and Jerk: All three of Harjinder’s attempts in this round were successful. He lifted 113 kg in the first attempt, 116 in the second and 119 kg in the third. In this way his score in clean and jerk was 119.

Harjinder scored a total of 212 kg after snatch and clean and jerk. After that it seemed that she would not be able to win bronze. Next to him was Alexis Ashworth. He lifted 214 kg. Then Nigeria’s Joe Ogbonne and England’s Sarah Davis were to arrive. There was going to be a fight for the gold medal between the two, but the game turned around.
